Located in the historical city of Podgorica, the Miki gallery is privately owned by Miki Martinovic. Co-run by Miki's son, Sasa Martinovic, the gallery opened in 2008 and is found in the centre of the city.
Podgorica is home to many Montenegrin cultural events and institutions. Most of the architecture and cultural philosophy of the city is carved through a turbulent past: Podgorica saw one regime replace another which has created a mixture of styles.
The Miki Gallery is one of many private galleries in the area showcasing contemporary works from local artists with all of its work on sale handpicked by Miki himself. The gallery also holds sales of their artwork during holiday periods, so be sure to visit and chat to the friendly owner.
