Picerija Il Giardino

The Picerija Il Giardino restaurant itself is situated slightly underground with ground level windows, which gives it an ambience of intimacy and romance, rather than darkness. But there is also a garden if you feel more inclined to sit outside during the heat of the summer. The service is always impeccable and has been maintained at this standard over the past years.

The cuisine is essentially Italian with an added Montenegrin twist, making the dishes insatiably unique to this local area. The prices here are slightly higher, but this is the cost of dining at a high standard, and getting the chance to sample the 'Chocolate Nemesis' cake! This cake alone makes this place worth a visit. For the rest of the menu there are options such as tuna steak with vegetable rice and other meat dishes. The menu is quite short, but is certainly sweet. The wine list however is very long and compensates for the shorter selection of food. A small bottle of local red will cost approximately €25.00.
