Italian
Situated in the Old Town of Budva; usually restaurants in this area of the city are pushed down a gloomy and unattractive back alley, but this restaurant faces out onto an open yet shaded dainty square. As the name suggests, Italian cuisine is on the menu with a carefully selected list of pizzas and pasta dishes available to order, characterised by quality fresh ingredients and a very friendly service. The Mona Lisa is certainly one of the more attractive restaurants in the area in terms of its exterior appearance, and the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere inside.
Mona Lisa is labelled as a restaurant, but also has a café and bar vibe which invites visitors to enjoy their facilities all day. Come in for a coffee and bring your laptop to take advantage of the free WiFi to contact friends and family, and upload holiday pictures. In the evening the café transforms into a restaurant, and when the sun sets a lively bar emerges where you can enjoy a few beverages under the spacious and covered terrace area. This makes it a great place for backpackers to meet, as there is no pressure to clear tables even if you have been slowly nursing a pint for two hours.
Opening times: everyday 09:00-00:00
